Join us via Zoom every Tuesday for story time and crafts! Each class includes a special Little New-Yorkers hello song, silly dances and songs, a story book reading, and a craft to do at home. This October, we’re celebrating our new exhibition Notorious RBG: The Life and Time of Ruth Bader Ginsburg with stories of other groundbreaking women like RBG!

This week, read Mae Among the Stars—written by Roda Ahmen and illustrated by Stasia Burrington—and learn about Mae Jemison, the first Black woman to travel into space. Find out how her dream of becoming an astronaut came true. After the reading, create your own astronaut helmet!

Please note that this is not a drop-off program—child participants must be accompanied by an adult. This program will take place in person. Capacity limits, vaccination proof plus matching ID (for those ages 12 and up), and mask requirements apply. Please find all our safety information here
