Petraeus’ remarkable career has taken him to the highest ranks of the U.S. military and Central Intelligence Agency, and his profound leadership has shaped U.S. strategy in tackling the myriad obstacles at home and abroad. In an intimate conversation, General Petraeus offers his unique insight into contemporary economic and national security issues facing the nation.
General (Ret.) David H. Petraeus commanded coalition forces during the Surges in both Iraq and Afghanistan and then served as Director of the CIA. He is now a Partner in the global investment firm KKR and the Chairman of the KKR Global Institute. He is also a Visiting Professor at CUNY’s Macaulay Honors College and the Judge Widney Professor at the University of Southern California. Max Boot (moderator) is Jeane J. Kirkpatrick Senior Fellow for National Security Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations.
