Gay Life in 1950s Cherry Grove explores the gay and lesbian community that flourished during the 1950s on Fire Island through some 70 enlarged photographs and additional ephemera. Join Rebecca Klassen, associate curator of material culture, and Cherry Grove Archive Collections curators Brian ClarkSusan Kravitz, and Parker Sargent as they discuss the open-air exhibition which will be on view in New-York Historical’s courtyard through October 11.
