Presented LIVE on Zoom

The Trump administration exposed vulnerabilities in the West Wing that had long been protected by an honor system of adhering to widely understood standards of decorum, normalcy, and respectability for the office of the president. Join us for an illuminating discussion of proposed reforms to the presidency— as well as their historical context—that can further safeguard and stabilize one of the most powerful positions of leadership in the world.

Jack Goldsmith is Learned Hand Professor of Law at Harvard University and a co-author of After Trump: Reconstructing the Presidency. Trevor Morrison (moderator) is dean of NYU School of Law, where he is also the Eric M. and Laurie B. Roth Professor of Law.
