Description:
Slope-lid writing desk decorated with figured veneer, border composed of three inlaid wires, and mother-of-pearl inlaid rectangular plate and escutcheon; lid hinged at front and back, opening at center to reveal storage well and writing surface; writing surface lined with purple velvet with Greek key patterned border; storage well divided into seven compartments, two containing colorless glass bottles with metal caps.
