Bronze struck medal with obverse showing beaux-arts building with domed roof with inscription in exergue: "ADMINISTRATION/BUILDING"; legend around border: "WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION CHICAGO/1893." Reverse depicts Columbus with sword and flag surrounded by his sailors and Native Americans with ship in background; inscription in exergue: "LANDING OF COLUMBUS/1492", all within star-studded border.
