Silver struck medal with obverse showing seated female figure in French folk costume, draping flag over two girls flanking her; legend above: "SUS-LE-MEME-DRAPEAU." Reverse contains two oval shields with French and American heraldic emblems, superimposed over ornate cartouche decorated with laurel and oak branches; legend above: "LIBERTE/JUSTICE."
