Description:
Cast, seamed and wrought Sheffield plate wine cooler; urn-shaped body, globular lower body with all over chased spiral gadrooning seated on a stepped, splayed foot raised to a circular pedestal with a plain rim; two, cast squared baluster handles with acanthus leaf joints and decoration applied to opposite sides of the lower body; circular upper body flared to the applied, spiral gadroon and shell motif rim; ring with bezel set inside the rim; no maker's marks.
