Description:
Man's wig with gray hair knotted to net foundation reinforced with brown silk tape; bun curls on either side secured with hairpins and queue in back tied with black ribbon.
Gallery Label:
This wig was probably used by the history painter John Ward Dunsmore (1856-1945) to outfit one of his models.
