Description:
Bronze struck medal with obverse showing uniformed bust of Edward, Prince of Wales, facing right, with his coat of arms at lower right and surrounding legend: "EDWARD . PRINCE OF WALES." Reverse depicts standing allegorical female figure crowned with laurel wreath; with inscription at left, flanked by oak branches: "COMMEMORATING/THE VISIT OF/H.R.H. THE PRINCE/OF WALES/TO THE/UNITED STATES/NOVEMBER/M.C.M.X.I.X."; below, at center, is seal of the American Numismatic Society. Medal is inset into white square cardboard box.
