Rectangular wooden trunk with painted canvas cover; iron straps nailed with brass tacks and wire nails; metal handles on sides and lock at front. Interior lined with printed paper and contains one removeable tray. Contents include doll's dresses, hats, petticoats, shoes, shoe horn, ribbons, parasol, handkerchiefs, and feather wrap and muff.
According to accession records, this trunk and a doll were brought from Paris in 1867 by Mr. and Mrs. John Abel Weekes for their daughter, Alice Delano Weekes.
