Khaki-colored worsted wool summer uniform trousers; zipper fly with one button at the top at the waistband; 7 belt loops around the waistband; right side horizontal slit pocket beneath the waistband, vertical slit pockets at the side seams, horizontal slit right rear pocket, horizontal left rear pocket with a flap which buttons closed; waistband and fly lined with brown silk, pockets lined with white cotton.
These trousers are part of a uniform worn by Paul H. Downing during World War II. Downing served in the Air Corps as commanding officer of the Rochester (N.Y.) Region, Materiel Command.
