Clay tobacco pipe fragment; bowl with ribbing under rim and partial stem.
Gallery Label:
According to an attached label, this pipe was found at Kings Highway and Utica Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. The label gave a date of June 31, 1925, but did not clarify whether the object was found on that date, or presented that day to the Society. The address was the site of a Colonial inn that was built in 1680.
