Description:
A large square biscuit tin, printed on all sides with multicolored historical and landscape scenes of New York state with gold bordered edges and a latch to hold the hinged lid closed. The top scene has the caption "The Mohawk Valley At Canjoharie"; the front side "The General Herkimer Homestead-1764; the right side "Fort Herkimer Church-1767"; the rear "Van Alstyne House-1749"; and the left "Fort Johnson-1749". Each caption contains historical and local information about the site pictured.
