Description: 
Six silver teaspoons with downturned foliate handles with engraved c-scrolls, foliate decoration and the initials, "EEG' in script; pointed oval bowls; maker's marks stamped on the undersides of the handles.
Gallery Label: 
EEG is Emma Elizabeth Gilder (b. 1861), the aunt of the donor (Louise S. Gilder). Emma was a sister of Louise's father, William Howard Gilder (b. 1857, Maryland).
