Description:
silver teaspoon with an upturned oval handle with a short midrib on the front and the engraved initials, "R L" in block letters; elliptical bowl with rat-tail drop; maker's mark stamped on the underside of the stem.
Gallery Label:
This spoon belonged to Rachel Lippit (b. 1690) of Middletown, New Jersey. She married Eden Burrows in 1733.
