Stamped Britannia metal teapot with plain molded tapering body and stepped domed lid with orb finial; copper base.
Gallery Label: 
According to accession records, this teapot was used by the donor in his historical paintings. John Ward Dunsmore was one of America's leading painters of murals and historical subjects in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The Society owns about thirty of his works.
