Description: 
Wrought silver tray; flat, oval base with raised, concave, stepped sides and an applied, cast gadrooned band around the rim; two cast gadrooned and foliate handles; Lenox family arms engraved in the center in a shield on ermine mantling, shield quartered, first and fourth contain a silver St. Andrew's cross with four roses between, second and third contain three salmon hauriant, with rings through their noses, lion passant crest above, and the motto, "AUCTOR PRETIOSA FACIT" in a banner below; maker's marks stamped on the base.
