Description:
Cast silver spoon handled tea infuser; Richelieu pattern with an upturned-ovoid end with shell decoration, down-turned handle with floral decoration and bell flowers down the center, and a perforated, elliptical bowl with a outlined shell on the back; perforated cover with a hinge at the handle joint; makers' marks stamped on the underside of the handle.

The "Richelieu" pattern was patented on November 15, 1892. The patent was given to Paulding Farnham (active before 1888-1908)
