Description:
Cast and wrought silver tea infuser in the shape of a tea caddy; rectangular cannister with a wrought cherubim and foliate scroll motif around the sides; seated on four ball feet; screen applied across the inside of the base; hinged, circular domed cover with circular perforations in the top; chain with a ring terminal attached to the top of the cover; maker's marks stamped on the base.
