Wooden tape loom with inlaid pewter designs and chip-carved and incised decorations; initials incised in handle above heart-shaped cutout; remnants of red stain.
Tape looms were used for weaving simple bands of cloth. Though they served a functional purpose, tape looms were also frequently objects of affection, made by hand and given to one's sweetheart.
