Description:
Twelve silver tablespoons with downturned handles with all over foliate geometric decoration and the engraved initials, "LBS" in script on the fronts; short midribs; pointed oval bowls with broad drops; makers' marks stamped on the underside of the handle.
Gallery Label:
LBS is Louise Bancker Stafford (1860-1934), who married William Howard Gilder in 1881.
