Description: 
Two diamond-shaped Berlin woolwork table mats on linen ground, "a", unlined, shows a wreath of roses with a flower pattern at each corner, and a geometric border on all sides, "b", lined with silk on reverse, shows an abstract floral design, with an abstract inner border surrounded by a geometric border on all sides, both designs are set against a yellow background.
Gallery Label: 
These table mats belonged to Jennet Lenox Maitland Belknap (1798-1870),who married the distinguished New York attorney, Aaron Betts Belknap (1816-1880) in 1823.
