Description: 
Sword (saber) with curved, single-edged steel blade with broad fuller extending from ricasso to within 7 1/2 inches of point; steel stirrup hilt with reverse P-type knuckle-bow pierced with slot for sword knot, simple langets, and curved quillon with cylindrical finial; wooden grip originally covered in leather and wrapped with wire; bird's head pommel with backstrap extending to ferrule at base of grip; white leather tassel on strap tied to knuckle-bow; steel scabbard with two carrying rings and rudimentary drag.
