Iron and brass sword hilt; curved knuckle bow extending from straight quillon with simple anneau on one side and rivet at bottom of pommel; brass wire wrapped around handle.

According to accession records, this hilt was found during excavations for the Criminal Court Building on Center and Leonard Streets in lower Manhattan, on the site of the Collect Pond.
