Description: 
Leather, brass, and cotton sword belt; stitched black leather belt has loop sewn to left side suspending scabbard sling with brass hook at end that fastens to another scabbard sling with hook suspended from loop sewn to further left, and circular brass buckle at right end that fastens to clasp on left; buckle has stamped eagle perched atop anchor in center, encircled by stars and roped border, with stamped wreath on clasp; stamped numbers on buckle and clasp.

According to an attached tag, this sword belt was part of a uniform worn by Navy Commodore Uriah P. Levy, and was presented to the Society in memory of Jefferson M. Levy.
