Description: 
Dress sword with straight, evenly tapered steel blade, which is triangular in cross section; gilded brass hilt cast in three pieces: grip with oval framed eagle in relief on either side, acorn-shaped pommel, and guard consisting of two scrolled quillons and two shields, one on obverse side and one on reverse; leather scabbard with gilded brass throat and tip, the former with oval frog stud.
