Straight, double-edged steel blade with etched designs below hilt on obverse and reverse (now obscured by rust); blade, which is elliptical in cross-section, is joined to a simple, rectangular wooden hilt with carved inscription on one side and hole pierced through the center; simple, rectangular wooden scabbard with iron spike joined to tip.
