Description:
Sword with broad, single-edged steel blade that curves slightly at tip; steel (or iron?) hilt with C-shaped knuckle-bow, curved quillon with disk finial, small pointed langets, and disk-like pommel cast in one piece (branches joining kuckle-bow and counter-guard are now broken and missing); tang of blade is faced on either side with a rounded panel of wood held in place by three rivets driven through a strip of metal.
