Description:
Fencing foil with straight, evenly tapered triangular steel blade (broken near mid-point); large, almost circular brass counter-guard with two C-scrolls in low relief on gridded ground on either side; rectangular wooden grip wrapped in twine to form ridges and covered with black textile; urn-shaped brass pommel with ball finial.
