Description:
Buff-colored earthenware sugar bowl with wide, flaring rim and squat, rounded body; decorated with gold, green, red, and blue circular medallions on a clear-glazed band surrounding middle of bowl; brown glaze on rim, shoulder, and base, with incised vertical lines running from inside rim to edge of base; slightly domed cover with brown glaze, incised lines crossing at center, and applied handle.
