Stamp with shaped wooden handle, rectangular stamping block, and carved metal letters "C. Vibbard" in Gothic lettering; from Hudson River steamboat "Chauncey Vibbard".

This stamp is from the Hudson River Day Line sidewheel steamboat "Chauncey Vibbard," which was built in Brooklyn in 1864 and used regularly until 1887. The steamboat was broken up in 1900.
