Circular steel stamp with intertwined initials "EDM" at center with stag's head above and banner with inscription "VINCIT QUI PATITUR" below; short cylindrical handle.
Gallery Label:
The initials on the stamp are those of Edwin Denison Morgan (1811-1883). Morgan served as governor of New York from 1859 to 1863.
