Spectacles with metal (possibly silver) frame, octagonal colorless glass lenses, and crank bridge; temples twist backward from hinge and have turnpin and loop at end; in lozenge shaped sheet metal case with hinged lid and brown textile lining interior.
According to a note found with these spectacles, the donor believed that they belonged either to his uncle Henry Scott (d. ca. 1909) or to his aunt Ellen Skinner Scott (d. ca. 1920), both of Watertown, Connecticut.
