Cast silver souvenir spoon with view of Soldiers and Sailors Monument, Indianapolis, Indiana, on inside of pointed oval bowl; handle with state seal(?), buffalo mask, corn stalks, and inscription, "INDIANA," in relief.
Gallery Label: 
Construction of the Indianapolis Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument began in 1889, and the monument was completed in 1901. The first commemorative spoon was patented in 1891.
