Description:
Cast silver souvenir spoon with White House and inscriptions in relief on inside of bowl and seal of the President of the United States on the back; handle with molded banners with inscriptions and foliage; handle finial with bust of President William McKinley; stamped maker's mark on reverse.

This souvenir spoon pattern was patented in 1897, the year McKinley was elected president.
