Description:
A nut or lobster set in a hinged wood box. The inside of the lid reads in gold on a textured paper background "Academy of Music, New York. E.G. Gilomre and Eugene Tompkins, Proprietors and Managers./ Wm. A. Brady's $25,000 Production of/ Uncle Tom's Cabin/ 100th Performance May 13th 1901". Inside is a fitted cloth form that holds five nut picks and a nutcracker, with room for a sixth pick that is missing.
