Bronze struck medal with obverse showing four stylized figures of Native Americans of the Hopi tribe performing the ritual Snake Dance; inscription below exergual line: "HOPI." Reverse shows a group of running nude male figures of Hopi Indians holding snakes against the background of mountains and stormy sky; inscription below exergual line"PRAYER FOR RAIN."
