Description:
Square wooden chest with flat hinged top; top has bead molding outlining square, with brass plaque (engraved with lion crest and initials J.L.P.) in center; brass hardware including lock, corner mounts, side mounts, and bail handles at sides; interior lined with cotton felt and fitted with numerous compartments for storing silver.
