Description: 
Turned slat-back side chair with four graduated arched slats between turned stiles with pointed ball finials; below flag seat are front legs with flattened ball-and-reel feet; front stretcher is double-ball-and-disc turned; side and rear stretchers are plain; all painted green.

Slat-back chairs made in the Delaware River Valley exhibit certain regional characteristics, such as slats arched on both the top and bottom edges, pointed bulb finials, plain tapered stiles, ball-and-double-vase-turned front stretchers, and ball-and-reel feet.
