Rectangular pair of shoulder straps; each with four gold-embroidered bars inside gold-embroidered border, on light blue velvet background.
Gallery Label: 
According to the accession records, these shoulder straps were worn by Joseph H. Bradley while serving as captain in the 5th New York Volunteer Infantry ("Duryee's Zouaves") during the Civil War, from 1861 until 1862.
