Circular brown felt patches; embroidered with various brown felt designs; one with a castle; one with horseshoe; one with bag; one with spoked wagon wheel; one with crossed swords; one with crossed rods; one with crossed cannons; other with bugle.
Gallery Label: 
These patches were worn by members of various U.S. Army branches on the upper sleeve of their uniform jackets. The patches with the castle, bugle, sword, and cannons were worn by engineers, musicians, cavalry, and artillerymen, respectively.
