Description: 
Black leather men's low-heeled shoes with rounded toes, cotton shoelaces laced through perforated holes at the top of the foot.
Gallery Label: 
A note found inside one of the shoes says that these were part of the military uniform of H. Maxson Holloway. They were a gift from the Chicago Historical Society, which retains the remainder of the uniform.
