White cotton fitted shirtwaist with a high V-shaped neckline trimmed with needlepoint lace; "leg-of-mutton" sleeves, sleeve with a large puff at the shoulder narrowing and fitted below the elbow; bodice and the sleeves below elbow are decorated with a floral white work and open work pattern; a large ruffle trimmed with needlepoint lace runs across the breast over the shoulder and around the back; buttons up the front; split tail in the back.
