Description: 
Dark blue enlisted man's artillery single-breasted shelljacket (short), with 2 1/2" closed stand-up collar (2 sets hooks and eyes) trimmed with red lace around the outer edges, 6 rows of lace at the throat terminating near the shoulder with 2 buttonsr; 12 unmarked buttons down the front; sleeves have no cuffs, but are open at the wrists with 2 buttons and a row of red lace surrounding, in a chevron shape on the outer side; hem edge trimmed with red lace; 2 panels at the back of the bodice with 2 vertical stripes of red lace; lined with green and white twill-weave wool, breast slightly padded, with vertical slit pocket on the left side, pocket and sleeves lined with white linen.
