The Cadette/Senior Girl Scout patches are awarded to girls as young as eleven who want to pursue very specialized interests, but are generally reserved for adult Scouts over the age of 18. The Sew EZ patch, as suggested by the images of scissors, thimble, thread and needle and sewing machine, represents a Scout's mastery of both hand and machine sewing and is earned with the completion of various sewing projects. Such patches reward adult Scouts who choose to pursue specific interests.
