Male indian Chief with blue coat, flowered undergarment, and two-feather headdress. Left arm upraised holding rifle and right arm resting on waist, also has beads and powder horn

This figure was found in Florida by the donor and restored by N-YHS under his directions. The figure is based upon a George Catlin drawing of Osceola and group of "Seminolee," which is in the New-York Historical Society's drawing collections.
