Cast and wrought silver seal of Richard Harison; circular seal with tapered sides; engraved in the center with the arms of the Harison family in a cartouche surrounded by foliate scrolls, swags and a scallop motif; three eagles displayed in chief on a sable ground (grid) above four quadrants, 1 and 4 gold (spotted), 2 and 3 silver (empty), surmounted by a ducal crown and a talbot's head; engraved around the edge, ":RICHARD HARISON NOTARY PUBLICK NEW YORK IN AMERICA" in roman letters; maker's mark stamped on the underside.
