Description:
Two octagonal red wax seal impressions in circular plastic box.
Gallery Label:
Notes found with this object indicate that one of the impressions was made from (a copy of?) a seal ring belonging to the English general and statesman Oliver Cromwell (1599-1658). The donor's ancestor Samuel Squire was Cromwell's auditor.
