Description:
Small brass seal (diam. ¾ in) attached to a 3 5/8 in long, worn wooden cherry handle. Seal bears inscription, Latin phrase "RECTE ET SUAVITER." Coat of arms: upright lion surrounded by three crosses. Seal presumed to be the Wyborn family crest or heraldry as "RECTE ET SUAVITER" is their motto.
